Jessica Walker, MD
Dr. Walker, M.D. is a dedicated OBGYN physician at Physicians for Women. Raised in Indiana, she attended Stanford University, majoring in Human Biology while competing on the varsity swim team. Her family’s move to Wisconsin led her to the University of Wisconsin for medical school and residency. Falling in love with Madison, she and her family decided to make it their permanent home.
Dr. Walker’s passion for connecting with patients and supporting them through significant life changes guided her to specialize in OBGYN. She is particularly interested in minimally invasive surgical techniques, compassionate care for infertility and pregnancy loss, and a multidisciplinary approach to female sexual dysfunction. Building trust with her patients during pivotal moments in their lives is an honor she cherishes.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Walker enjoys exploring the Madison area with her husband and two young daughters. They love discovering new restaurants, attending shows, and visiting parks and pools. She also values her personal time, spent exercising, listening to audiobooks, and gardening. A former Division I collegiate swimmer at Stanford, Dr. Walker held several national records and competed in the 2008 and 2012 US Olympic Trials, an experience that continues to inspire her dedication and discipline.
